INDICATIONS :
Travoprost Eye Drops are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, thereby helping to reduce the risk of optic nerve damage and vision loss. Benzalkonium Chloride acts as a preservative to maintain the sterility of the formulation.
USES :
Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that increases the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, effectively lowering intraocular pressure. It is administered as an eye drop, usually once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Common side effects include eye redness, mild irritation, itching, burning or stinging sensation, blurred vision, dry eyes, and increased tearing. Long-term use may cause gradual darkening of the iris, eyelid skin pigmentation, or increased growth and thickness of eyelashes.
