INDICATIONS :
Metronidazole Intravenous (IV) 500 mg/100 mL infusion is a potent antibiotic used primarily to treat serious infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and to prevent postoperative infections.
USES :
This infusion is administered intravenously when oral therapy is not feasible. It helps eliminate anaerobic bacterial infections and protozoal infections by inhibiting microbial DNA synthesis, thereby preventing the growth and multiplication of susceptible organisms.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, pain or irritation at the injection site, and skin rash.
