Empagliflozin + Linagliptin is primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults and belongs to the group of anti-diabetic medicines.
USES :
Empagliflozin works by removing excess glucose from your body through urine. Linagliptin works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Hypoglycemia (low blood glucose level), Cough, Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), Vomiting, Constipation, Nausea, Genital fungal infection, Urinary tract infection.
