INDICATIONS :
Cinacalcet is used in the treatment of high calcium levels in the blood and hyperparathyroidism.
USES :
Cinacalcet works by lowering a chemical (parathyroid hormone), which makes calcium level go back to normal.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness, Headache, Dizziness, Rash, Back pain, Muscle pain, Upper respiratory tract infection, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Diarrhea, Decreased appetite, Constipation, Hypersensitivity reaction, Decreased calcium level in blood, Hypotension (low blood pressure), Breathlessness, Cough, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Muscle spasm.
