INDICATIONS :
Leekof-Q Linctus is used in the treatment of cough.
USES :
Ammonium chloride and guaifenesin are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Headache, Sedation, Double vision, Dryness in mouth, Nervousness, Decreased appetite, Heartburn, Weakness, Discomfort when urinating, Polyuria, Urinary retention, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats), Respiratory disorder, Increased heart rate, High blood pressure, Hallucination, Tremors, Pale skin, Convulsion.
