INDICATIONS :
Methylprednisolone is used in the treatment of rheumatic disorder, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), allergic conditions, eye disorders and skin disorders.
USES :
Methylprednisolone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Muscle weakness, Irregular menstrual cycle, High blood pressure, Fluid retention, Sodium retention, Heart failure, Decreased potassium level in blood, Hypokalemic alkalosis, Loss of muscle mass, Steroid myopathy, Osteoporosis, Tendon rupture, Bone fracture, Peptic ulcer, Pancreatic inflammation, Abdominal distension, Ulcerative esophagitis, Impaired wound healing, Convulsion, Cushingoid syndrome, Growth retardation in children, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Carbohydrate intolerance, Latent diabetes mellitus, Decreased insulin level in blood, Increased intraocular pressure, Glaucoma, Negative nitrogen balance, Hypersensitivity, High white blood cell count, Slow heart rate, Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).
